Cheap drinks, fun/interesting crowd, not a boring time. Would drink here again.

Went there once last year. Yeah, it was noisy, yeah it was crazy, but it was a good place to lie low and hide from my family and the insanity coming from that reunion. Sorry about the okay rating, but I only had a couple beers and no food. Will be back in town in about a month and I will order the wings. If they're spicy enough, I'll up it to four stars.
By the way, thanks for letting me hide out there.

$5 PBR with a whiskey shot plus a bar swing... that should give you an idea of what you are walking into. Its a great place to start the night or end it. Super cheap drinks and a wild bar scene. Best time to go are weekends, usually tame during the week.

I like Iron Horse because the bartenders are generally friendly and drinks are reasonably priced. Cans of PBR and Rolling Rock are $2 during happy hour and go up to $3 after 8pm. Very energetic bar...they swing on a swing hanging above the bar, blow fire at times, and the bartenders encourage both men and women to dance on the bar with them. But, the only reason why I only give then three stars is because they play way too much pop music on the jukebox, even though it appears to be a rock and roll bar. I just don't like it when dive bars try to be too much like a club. Also, Iron Horse is a hit or miss. There has been weekends in which the bar was totally dead and other times it is packed. But, when it gets too busy, there is no place to stand because the bar area is very narrow and awkward. There is a larger pool area in the back. My recommendation is to check it out and have a good time, but if you're not feeling the vibe, you could always go to the Patriot nearby which is also a fun dive bar.
