If you like football (soccer) you'll love it. If you love Liverpool FC you'll never want to leave. Friendly team that want to know your name. Good bar food, great early morning full breakfasts.. Did I mention football or Liverpool? :) YNWA

Awesome place to enjoy a few drinks. Nikki was great and the atmosphere was like one big party.

The waiters are very kind and efficient, the food is good (for the plates I tasted), the prices are cheap enough and the pub has a nice warm atmosphere, everybody seems friendly here. Maybe the only notable drawback is the AC, it is maybe too cold for my taste, but that’s subjective. Overall, a nice place I’d recommand.

The only reason to come here is the music. And the restaurant clearly knows it.
Music was great, of course. If that were all I was reviewing, it would get 4-5 stars.
If the restaurant was the only thing I was reviewing, it would be lucky to get 2 stars.
The wine was terrible and overpriced. So I switched to prosecco, which was mediocre at best. I didn't have a meal here (thank god), but did sample some of my friend's french fries. Mediocre, but palatable.
If you're coming to a show, I strongly recommend you eat somewhere else first.

I have been to City Winery on many occasions to see/hear live music. The quality of the musicians booked by this club is very high. Their house sound system is clear & well-mixed. This last Sunday, we saw Joe Ely (a legendary singer/songwriter/guitar player from Amarillo, TX) perform; opening acts included Lenny Kaye (Patti Smith's band) & Lucette (young singer/songwriter from Alberta, Canada). Great show! Now a few critiques. The sight lines at City Winery are not ideal unless one gets a good table very near the stage. Given the geometry of City Winery's space, I have no idea how this problem could be rectified. The wine (made on-site) is expensive & not really worth the prices they charge. Also, many patrons seem more interested in their smartphones than the musicians which to be fair is a ubiquitous problem. Also, City Winery attracts an older crowd than many other locations which is really not an issue - just an observation. This is probably related to the food/drink prices, the artists that they book, & the lack of stand-up space (except by the bar). I'll keep going to shows at City Winery but I'd recommend the Mercury Lounge & Rockwood Music Hall as alternatives for persons who are seeking out high quality live music in a less genteel environment.
