The Grey Dog

This place has a cute atmosphere with good food. The prices were a little higher than I expected based on what I saw on yelp but they were reasonable. I got the smoked salmon toast tips and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of food i was given. This place is self-serve for water, utensils, and napkins.

One of my favorite spots to go to for lunch, either take out or dining there. It's a fairly quick turn around with tables, I never had to wait for one. The menu has such a wide variety -- You can get breakfast items in the afternoon! My favorite items on the menu include grilled cheese, tuna melt sandwich, and their French fries.. so crispy good!

I love this bar! How many places can you start your day with coffee, then eat breakfast, chat, then eat lunch, hang out, eat dinner, and finish with a night of cheap beer?

Its extremely casual, usually busy, definitely a college crowd, definitely one of my favorite hangouts in the Village.

The last two times I have had really poor service. Today, I waited almost 45 minutes for a hamburger, no bun, no fires, just grilled meat. The girl literally forgot to give my order to the cook. Last time it waited just as long because the kids where too busy looking at their phones to see that my order was up. I could freaking see it waiting for me. I am a really relaxed person when it comes to things like this, mistakes happen and I am ok with that but I truly feel like there needs to be an adult here not just 7 kids under 23. I really like Gray Dog, its a nice establishment, they have good food but the whole dining experience is sullied by staggering incompetence.

Fantastic service and staff were friendly. Had the Grey Dog breakfast which came with French toast which were one the best I've had. I liked the laid back atmosphere with the music on the quiet side - no need to shout for any conversation. Order at the counter and grab a seat (a bit cozy inside). Took my co-workers here and they were blown away with the quality of food and the taste also.
