The Fireplace Place

Horrible service, and I mean really really bad... unfortunately, they do sell good products at good prices, but the aftermath of your purchase is to be desired.

Very unprofessional attitude. We want to replace our gas fireplace, and on our first visit a salesperson advised us Eiklor Flames fireplace. We wanted to make some research before we buy. After reading Eiklor reviews we decided to buy it. We came back. The salesperson to whom we talked the first time was not there, so we talked to another person. When we mentioned that our current fireplace is gas (and we said that during our first visit), he all of a sudden said that Eiklor fireplace cannot be installed for us, without any explanation. I asked if they have any products that can be installed, he answered that they don't do it and basically kicked us out. Later I've read on Eiklor website that they require 'Class A' fully-vented, solid-fuel burning chimney. But I would expect from a professional first to explain it to me. And it seems strange that the store that sells gas fireplaces does not carry any products that can fit class B.

Horrible experience, very unprofessional company. Don't waste your time, like I did, hire another installer who knows what he is doing.

I highly reccomend the Fireplace Place. They are very knowledgeable about their products and very courteous in taking the time to help you find the product that is best for you. They have fabulous products and a great selection. I spent hours searching for the perfect fireplace, and they had it. Give them a try, you will be taken great care of.

Make sure NOT to buy from these people. They sold my wife doors which were NOT compatible with our fireplace as per the guy he sent out to look after we complained! Once he realized what he said he back pedaled and , of course, said we needed to get the fireplace "fixed". There are gaping holes around the brand new fireplace doors and it's not their problem. Our chimney cleaner said "Why didn't the guys who installed the doors take care of this?" The owner would not get on the phone to discuss the matter. They are more concerned about separating you from your money than having a satisfied customer.
