The Fine Grind

Coffee and junk is super rad amazeballs. Go to this place a spend a third of your paycheck. It feels more like home if you take your shoes off and chill on the couch with a guitar and your homies.

Good coffeeshop with a good selection of coffees and other drinks and small selection of foods and snacks. Small place, crowed and not much seating. Would not be very accommodating for a large party. Not my personal favorite place since I am not a very big coffee drinker, but the atmosphere is very nice and it is a very good place to just relax.

My favorite place to get a good drink, study, and see my friends. They're open super late and everyone is really nice.

They have table service, which really just means you're obliged to tip for them dropping off your food. If you're going to have table service, you need to check up on your guests during the meal, which they didn't, otherwise don't bother. No one asked me how the food was, because I think they already know it sucks.

I had a ham and cheese quiche that was so utterly bland and dry I wanted to shoot it. This was a quiche made by people that 1) Hate food, 2) Hate life 3) Hate Flavor. It tasted like it was made by people that are anti animal products, so they used the very bare minimum of cream and butter in the recipe. It was 90% stiff, tasteless eggs, with no discernible seasoning (You need to use nutmeg or thyme or basil or something, in quantities large enough to *taste* you amateurs. Or if that's too complicated, maybe some black pepper).

It cost $7, supposedly justified because it came with a small side of that assorted lettuce / spinach mix you get in bags at the grocery store. For 7$ + Tip, you need to serve food that's at least better than something you can get at a Starbucks or Panera Bread.

Oh, and the Coffee was utterly unremarkable, but not *too* weak.

I've been coming here for years (from it's original location on Main Street, to it's current re-designed location off 23 South). Their coffee is fantastic, and their selection of deserts is perfect for an after-diner meeting place. This place is 'my second office' - since it's a fantastic location to meet up with co-workers or customers and have a great cup of coffee (or other beverage; their Hot Chocolate is second-to-none) and have the space to sit and talk without overbearing loud music playing.

Parking can be a pain (welcome to Little Falls! It's a real problem in the town itself - not any of the business' fault), but well worth the trip if you're a fan of great coffee and equally relaxing atmosphere for drinking it. :)
