The Edge Ultimate Martial Arts

My son and I have been training here for 3/4 years. Sir Justin Rios is a great instructor and wonderful with the kids too. After you been here a while, everyone makes you feel like it's your second family.

Having studied a variety of martial arts off and on for 30+ years and as a fitness professional, when it came time to choose a school for my three daughters it was not something to be taken lightly. I could have easily selected a school out of convenience, but instead did my research and checked out several area schools. There are at least a half dozen martial arts schools closer to our home, but the curriculum and instruction is well worth the trip. It is the most comprehensive program in the area addressing both stand-up and ground fighting. The confidence my girls have received at The Edge has translated to the soccer field, the basketball court, the classroom and the playground. Founder Rich Raciti, Executive Director Justin Rios, and his instructors not only teach technique but also life skills, such as how to deal with bullies and how to treat others with respect. Justin Rios is a gem. His ability to teach advanced skills and techniques, yet make the classes fun while instilling discipline at the same time is very unique. It's rare that you find an instructor that instills discipline, but can also make you laugh while doing it. If you can't tell, I highly recommend The Edge.

The second my brother and I (both overweight and out of shape) joined this place, we felt like a member of the family. I've never gotten a more intense workout and have learned a ton about self defense, jiu jitsu and Muay Thai in my 3 months there. God-willing, will be here for a long time...

This is a wonderful school for both kids and adults. My older son starting training at The Edge with Sir Justin Rios 12 years ago and now my 6 year old loves it as well! They really know how to engage the kids and get them excited to practice training and to learn to defend themselves.

I have been training at the Edge for about 6 years now. Over those years I have learned and developed myself more than I would have ever thought. The Edge offers a variety of classes and martial arts classes, all of which are practical and effective. The instructors are all friendly, they offer different perspectives, and are excellent teachers. I would not train anywhere other than The Edge.
