The Clam Hut

Wow I couldn't believe my eyes when I came to this place your absolutly right bottom of the barrell. I ordered chicken sandwhich and it took forever and my sprite tasted stale but besides that when the food finally came out I'm guessin they wanted me to eat the coleslaw with my hands because they didn't give me any silverware or not even a napkin. And what really got me was when I asked for hot sauce they gave me an empty bottle and I was shocked then I asked for more hot sauce and they gave me a half bottle wow but the scenery is nice outside. I'm not comin to pay another 8 dollars for a chikcen sandwhich I rather go to chik fila and get a value meal and enjoy it

Went to the Clam Hut today for some post-fishing apps with my dad, brother, uncle and few other family members. We ordered the Clams on the 1/2 Shell and Drunken Clams. The clams were huge, chewy and all around not good. The Drunken clams had absolutely no flavor to them other than clam. We complained to the waiter, who's reply was "Yeah...we're actually running out for the day and you guys pretty much got the bottom of the barrel." He then had the audacity to charge us full price for food we didn't eat.

We also had a woman who may have been a hostess or manager (not sure which) stop by our table to ask how things were and when we told her about the clams, she had the same answer as the waiter!

They also took a very long time to get us our drinks to begin with.

I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE but if you do go to The Clam Hut, make sure you're not fooled by the name, don't get the clams.
