OMG, these guys are crooks, plain and simple. Be advised, they operate properties outside of NJ illegally. Here s their game: If your renting one of their managed properties in say, CT, even IF you leave the property better than when you found it, following all the terms of the contract, they ll: first, attempt to retain your full deposit for violating oral financial commitments that they ll say you agreed to. Then, of course, you ll go get some legal advise. The lawyer will tell you that, unfortunately, The Blenden Group has failed to register an Agent for Service within the state. Your only option at that point will be to contact the State Marshal to investigate. The state will then inform you of the timeline that is involved in such a venture. Taking this information back to The Blenden Group may persuade them to return some of your deposit but, they ll make sure to keep just enough to convince you that your time is more important that the money that they keep (in my case, $1000).
Do business with these unscrupulous guys at your own risk.
