Great place to grab a nice drink in a low key and inviting bar area. Pricey but excellent cocktails. Small beer list. Friendly staff and bartenders. The truffle fries were good but not the best I've ever had.

Wagyu steak was great. Staff, as usual, addicted to taking meals before you're actually done. Nice ambience. Good hideout and date spot. Cool.

The Beatrice in is a great complement to the Waverly Inn, especially in having a classic New York bar to have have a white napkin dinner (a challenge at Waverly). Todd the bartender was charming and excellent with his recommendations from spirits to wine to food. The dining room's charming ambiance and simplicity makes it great for friends, friends in town or a date with someone special. All parts of the menu have a range of items, so note the prices if your cautious about exploring upper echelons.

Great food. We did have an issue with an inspection which was a random thing and not their fault and they offered us free drinks in that time but only saw one drink over an hour each.

The worst of the village. I usually love that kind of upscale new American (Gramercy tavern, waverly inn) - but we got kicked out of our table after 2h dinner w/ 800usd tab to rush next group in. Below average food and wines you get at every corner liquor shop. Staff is arrogant and inexperienced - so all in all a bad combination.
