How have I lived here twenty two years and never made it to Jane's Tavern. Lovely service, wonderful food for a reasonable price. If only soft shell crabs were available year around. They were excellent!

Great neighborhood spot. Always open and always welcoming: for a glass of wine, a draft beer, or a cold cocktail. And the food also fires on all cylinders - form nachos at the bar to a full dinner, you will be satisfied.

This place feels like you stepped back in time to the old West Village. It seems to be filled with locals and has a Cheers like atmosphere with a bustling bar and TVs.
The menu has lots of comforting food choices, nothing too hip. We just had the grilled wings which I wanted to love because someone really raved about them. They were pretty average. But I liked this place and would go there again if only to take a step back in time.

Nice place to have lunch and disconnect from work. Nothing special but I enjoyed it (the grilled brussels sprout were delicious)
