food and drinks were all like you can expect from any TGI restaurant.
It's just that the furniture and restaurant were really in need of some re deco and some need furniture and some paint.
The PU upholstery was totally gone, the paint was off the tables, and cracks in the windows. I figure they have good business anyway and just don't care.
I would never choose to eat here again.

Only got one because it wouldn't let me post zero. Had no utensils on the table...we waited at least half hour for beer! The waiter came once and said sorry..they were backed up. We decided to leave when the manager came out. Why wait until people leave? We should've known since the people seated behind us also left without food. NEVER AGAIN...do NOT waste your time.

- Excellent #10511
Came in just before 9:30 on a Thursday night to use a gift card. I ambled in at sat myself down at one of the small tables near the bar. There was one woman working the floor and the bar, but after giving me a few minutes to settle in and browse the menu, she came over to take my order. Polite and attentive, but not saccharine or hovering. My food came quickly, I wasn't rushed out the instant I picked up my last bite, and was given the chance to order more before I asked for the check (which came in under a minute). The food was tasty and a good size, but don't expect food that blows your mind (come on, this isn't a Michelin star gourmet joint). Atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. There's a help wanted sign over the door (Trinity side door, I haven't seen the Broadway side), so I expect it would be hard to keep up the same kind of service for a large group when it's busy due to need for more staff.

Staff was extremely disrespectul. We had a party of 5 people today (lunch around 2 pm), ended up having a high bill at the end. The 20% tip was just too much, so we left a fairly reasonable amount instead. Before we left we got approached by the waiter who gave back the bill/money and claimed he gets no salary, all his income comes from tips and was being pushy about raising it. In the end we ended up paying him what he wanted, but i regret it deeply, should have removed the tip altogether and just paid the bill. Extremely unprofessional and unpolite, not returning to this place.

So it took 45 minuted ot get appetizer. That was only because I ask the waitress where was my food. The hold up, they had run out of pot stickers. So then I sub wings. Asked for more napkins and I got cocktail napkins. Then when I asked for wetnap she comes over with a large container of of wipes and started pulling then out asking how many do I want. I asked her if they had the individual packs
, she said they where out. I asked for tooth picks, no they where out. In Denver where I am from TGF is a little better. So after an hour and a half and $36 later I wished I had not stopped in. But it is New York what more do you expect. Piss on an other tourist is just another day in paradise. Don't go it is not worth it. Still waiting for the waitress to pick up my credit card to pay. And still waiting......
