Tenafly Pediatrics

Very good. I've brought my children here many times for their yearly check ups and we've always had excellent service.

We have 3 kids and been going to this group for more than 9 years. Yes, they have a large group of doctors and they have many offices. I am not sure why people have complained about that. It is a benefit because they are available whenever one of our kids is sick. We are almost always able to see the same doctor for well visits unless he is on vacation. If you go in for a sick visit (which we have done many many times over the years) you get whoever is on call. So I have met many of the other doctors and have never had a bad experience. I like that I am able to bring my kids to the same office even if it is not the same doc. It is more reassuring to my kids and a much better experience than bringing them to ER.

I called Tenafly Pediatrics today. This is my first child and I was really excited to set up an appointment with one of their pediatricians, but I was completely turned off by the rudeness of the receptionist that I spoke to. All I wanted to do was set up a consultation appointment and she responded by saying, "Well...what do you want us to do?" in a condescending tone - it was not what I expected to hear. She also needed to let me know many times that I was calling too early. This is all new to me and I am not 100% sure of the process. I have heard such wonderful things about the doctors at Tenafly Pediatrics and would have loved to use their services; but, because this was my first experience with them, it left such a bad first impression that I will seek a pediatrician elsewhere.

Dr. Sugerman is knowledgeable and down to earth. She always answers our questions and makes time for additional inquiries.

I called Tenafly pediatrics and spoke with Caryl. I felt that she treated me as if I am another "burden" and addition to try to enroll to services. I felt disrespected. POOR customer service. This made me not want to even go there and I cancelled my appointment. It's such a shame that someone who works in Pediatrics has such an attitude and tone of voice. I also sense that she treats anyone who is maybe of lower income more disrespectful. If tenafly Pediatrics wants to maintain their good reputation then they need to CHANGE their front desk staff.
