Taino Taste Deli Corporation

This hidden gem is right around the corner from where i live. I can't compliment the food enough. I've never walked in the place and had to chose from the same food options from my prior visit. Never light on flavor or the food portions either. The place is small, but has seating and tables and is always clean which is my first interest in a place i would want to eat at. Always had service with a smile from everyone that works there. It's kind of unfortunate that some of the locals in the above reviews seem to base their liking of an establishment more on their own lack of patience, quick tempers or their own bilingual deficiency and not on the pleasant atmosphere, delicious food or warm people that work hard cooking and serving the people is this neighborhood. I will always be a regular patron at Taino Taste, I urge you to check it out and see why.

They cook the same thing everyday. They never change up the menu. Sometimes the food is salty. They serve a very small portion of food for a high price. Let's not forget to mention the rudeness.

Always got good service and I've been a steady customer for more than a year !

This place is about an 8 minute walk from my building. My boyfriend and I sometimes pick up food on the way home. Last night we decided to order in. We thought it would be quick because we live so close. When I called the woman was a bit rude. I personally try not to get into it with the people who handle my food so I let it slide. Our order was a little below $25 which is well above the credit minimum at other establishments. But she told me that if I wanted to use my credit card there would be an extra charge. This seemed strange to me so I opted to pay cash. I was told my order would arrive in 30-40 minutes which seemed reasonable. 50 minutes later I called to see what the hold up was with my food. The same woman picked up and told me that the delivery man was doing another order and when he returned she would send him with my food. I asked how much longer that would take and she replied by hanging up on me. An hour later and my food still hadn't arrived. This time when I called a man answered. He told me exactly what the woman had told me an hour prior. I explained to him that I had already been told that and had been waiting for two hours for my food. He got agitated and told me that I would just have to wait. This upset my boyfriend who took the phone. The man told him that there wasn't anything else he could do about it we had to wait and that was that. He hung up on my boyfriend. We ended up canceling our order. I was too frustrated to deal with them any further. We realized the food quality wasn't worth the unprovoked animosity.

Waited 1-2 hours for my food and it never came!!!
