Synergy Fitness Clubs (Garden City)

This is a good gym with lots of equipment, but they are very cheap on the air-conditioning.

My experience at Synergy started off like any other gym. I would go there do my thing. They I realized how crappy of a gym it was compared to others i visited it in the past.

When i went to cancel they forced me to mail a letter to the headquarters to cancel. After mailing this letter i forgot to follow up on never received anything back. I later on realized they are still charging me.

I approach them about the issue and ask them to look at my records. I stopped going to this gym for months and they didn't care. Not only did they not care they where extremely rude. I had a women trying to explain to me the importance of them not having my credit card information. Man was that stupid considering i was holding my banking statements showing her all of the recurring transactions.

NEVER WELL I EVER join a synergy again. I also HIGHLY recommend that you don't. BTW Retro fitness is great!

Very nice place

Great place. Has a lot of machines and free weights. The people there are somewhat friendly and considerate. Some of the staff are rude, and the place could use some renovations. The equipment isn't brand new, but is adequate. Definitely a gym worth enrolling to around the area.
