Lunch with the wife and son. We were in the side room which was very nice. They seemed under staffed and the wait time was more then you'd like on a lazy Saturday afternoon.

I'm a huge fan of the open window and sidewalk seating which is what initially drew me to check out Sutton Place. The have a gorgeous center bar with sky lights letting the summer sun in. The services was great. However, as a self proclaimed burger connoisseur I got a little excited with the amazing burger I ordered. The beef was delicious and juicy with slightly broiled blue cheese and topped with fresh avocado. The prices were reasonable and I will surely come back to get my next burger fix!

Just a few blocks from the boardwalk on Park Ave sits this classy restaurant with a laid back vibe. The outdoor seating and live DJ pumping tunes to a private party are what sealed the deal beckoning me in. The quintessential "beachy vibe" is expected and they tee it up perfectly with a fun menu of mixed drinks. The Sangria was a bit weak but the other drinks we ordered were fitting for the summer weather and oh so refreshing. The burger menu was especially tantilyzing however I went for the specialty Lobster roll w/ avocado. Sadly the sandwich was littered with bits of shell making the meal less than stellar. The fresh made sweet potato fries w/ a sprinkling of coarse salt were some of the best I've ever had. The bites of burger made me realize I ordered the wrong thing. it was huge, juicy and oozing with great flavor. The gourmet buns were also a nice touch. I'd give it another shot after another great day at the beach.
