Sushi House

This place rocks!! Their salmon and sushi rolls were fantastic. You must try the Hibachi steak and the Hibachi shrimp. They give you plenty of meat and shrimp too. This isn't frozen shrimp either. The shrimp and vegetable tempura appetizers were made just perfect. It was light without being so oily like other places. Give it a try. It really is good.

Love this place. I go there a lot and the people there remember me. Their rolls are always fresh and delicious and their hibachi fried rice is awesome!

SUSHI HOUSE, Route 516, Old Bridge (same shopping center as the kosher meat market). They seem to be having some problems during their startup. We found the service is very slow. It took ~35 minutes to be served. The hot tea was really lukewarm tea. The miso served to help fill the time, but the salad was not, it is considered part of the main course. There was only one soy sauce, which means there is probably no low sodium soy sauce. I had ordered a bento with tempura but they served no tempura sauce. The menu made the price look reasonable--for bento $9.99. But while most Japanese restaurants' bento box orders have five items plus rice and salad are served on the side, here there were only three items with rice and salad taking up the remaining two sections. My wife commented that she thought the sauces (e.g. teriyaki) were thin and watery.
