Sussana is a great designer, she is very professional and works from the bottom of her heart. She mad a lace dress for my mom for my wedding and my mom wanted a specific style however Sussana doesn't just copy from a picture or makes only what you asked for, she will actually tell you what would look better on you even if that's not what you actually pictured yourself in. My mom was very happy with her suggestion and she figured Sussana was correct, and the dress turned out to be great. If you need a great artist for your dress go to her, she will make sure you will look your best.

I first found Susanna through a co-worker. I used a previous tailor in SoHo and found it difficult to get there after I no longer worked in the city.

Susanna fit my first pair of white slacks too perfection, right on par with my SoHo tailor. Unfortunately, after Superstorm Sandy I wasn't able to find her, until the summer is 2015. I haven't been to another tailor since. I promise the quality of her work will not leave you disappointed.

I brought my Anne Barge dress to Susanna and wanted the whole top basically remade to go from V-neck to almost off-the-shoulder. She did a wonderful job fitting the entire dress to my body perfectly. She does take her time though because she's a perfectionist, and she is extremely busy, so my advice is to take your dress to her a few weeks or months in advance, and realize that you will be back several times. Eventually, she will get the job done and you will not be left without a perfectly-fitting dress for your wedding. Also, call the day you have previously arranged to go in to make sure the work's been finished. You can also bring in a picture of a dress you love and she can make it from scratch - I saw one that she did for another client and it was gorgeous and cost half the price of getting it retail.

I brought a dress i purchased for Columbia Law School's Barrister's Ball... It was about 3-4 sizes to big and had tons of beading detail on the dress i wasn't sure it was gonna work with having it taken in.. BUT- Susanna is a MIRACLE worker.. and she even hand sewed on all the beading she had to disturb with taking the dress in.. I was BEYOND impressed.. I will definitely be using her services again in the future.. Plus, at the dance i got tons and tons of compliments on the dress.. All around a wonderful experience.. I can't say enough!

Susanna does absolutely beautiful work, and she can turn it around fast! With minimal direction, she whipped up my wedding dress from scratch for me, and it was exactly what I always wanted! She's a miracle!

Don't go to some anonymous wedding warehouse for an off-the-rack, ill-made piece of nonsense; let Susanna make your dress. It'll be so much better!
