Suprema Provisions

With a vibe that masterfully combines locals-only Roman side street restaurant with quaint west village authenticity Suprema Provisions is an outstanding choice for pretty much any occasion from brunch to dinner, a date or a large birthday party. Certainly the atmosphere alone couldn't warrant five stars. The food and wine have no equal in Manhattan and, unbelievably, I'd have to think of my favorite local hangouts in Northern Italy to find adequate compares. The Italian cured meats, the buratta, the truffles deviled eggs are just a few conversation stopping gastronomic adventures. And once you are done with your meal, be sure to stop by their small provisions shop where you can find the best of the best Italian ingredients. If you are looking for a place in the west village to become a regular, this should be high on your list at worst.

An amazing Italian vibe here. The food is super premium,very tasty and fresh. The whipped lard was crazy delicious! Good selection of wine, and the cheese and meat boards are great!

Suprema Provisions is an awesome gourmet food market, salumeria, (place that sells sausages and the BEST part), and wine bar. Additionally they offer a great selection of cheeses, spices, imported foods and my friends and I loved the espresso available until midnight. It's like that café from the movie Ronin. A late night meetup spot to hatch clever and elaborate plans...at least until midnight! ;)
