Super 8 North Bergen NJ/NYC Area

Nice place for crashing into

Room was so dirty. Shuttle bus to newyork was 3 bucks per person. Breakfast area was very small and dirty and couldn't be more worse. No free water in the room. I can not believe that I paid 100 bucks for this dirty room.

If you're like me and trying to save then this is great.. the building is old so expect your room to have some discrepancies. . A scratch cracks just old looking you know? But the ac worked .. had no problem with the shower.. had plenty of hot water for all 4 of us..the rooms got cleaned and we got fresh towels daily.. trash was taken out and the room made neat.. the microwave and fridge worked and are perfect to bring your own food to save even more money.. breakfast was from 6am-9am.. cereal waffles.. donuts coffee and juice.. not too fancy but it beats paying for breakfast! (Can u tell I'm cheap lol) the buses to NYC are about $6 round trip for adults.. idk about children.. they come every 15 minutes or so for you.. at the front of the hotel.. on the way back tho is a bit tricky as it drops you off down the corner and you walk down to the hotel which is by the freeway.. so if you have little ones be careful.. the neighborhood is decent but still go in groups at might! All in all I enjoyed my stay.. wasn't 5 star but it did the job and I saved a few bucks and would come again.. this is good for adults and maybe group of friends .. idk about young children because of the highway

Great room, super clean and great staff very helpful. Great location,there is a shuttle bus that goes to New York City's Port Authority in 42nd St.,which stops at the entrance of the hotel.$3.00 per person fare, stops every 15 minutes from 9am to 12 midnight great way to get to the city.
good breakfast, coffee, waffle, cereals milk toast ...etc

Need improvement in their WIFI connection. I had to go to the lobby in order to get a good connection.

Nasty, dirty... rude staff. Noisy, rooms smelled of smoke odour. NO hot water for shower!! stunned, for $120/night, there was no hot water to shower in, when i called reception, i was told i had to be awake before 8 am to get a hot shower. apparently they have a small tank and it gets pumped form one building to the back one. i was offer a 10% discount as way of an apology...no actual apology though!!

spent 3 days on march break with kids,a dn had to take cold showers every day..
