Pretty nice hotel. Not bad. Staff is a bit creepy and one of the guys in the room service looks like he eats kids. No joke. He seriously does. But besides that nice rooms.

Hotel is dirty, run down and has only 12-15 boring TV channels. The housekeeping will just replace toiletries and make the bed. No vacuum cleaning or professional work. Saw my room untidy and unclean 6 straight days. The bathrooms have no locks or bolts. I did not feel secure in my room as the room door had just one lock and there is no securtiy guard in the whole hotel. Unfriendly staff never smiles and at times gives you kiss my a** attittude. The rooms on top of the hill need lots of effort to go there and if you have heavy luggage to carry up there, no porters or helpers.So, you are on your own mercy. Having said that, the shuttle that takes you to and from Times Square is very good and reliable. Adult - $12 reoundtrip or $7 on way. The room rate is good especially as the location is very close to NY city. The food delivery around the hotel is good too. I think for the price it is good value although I will not stay there ever again.

Great if u are just looking for cheap place to sleep. Nothing around the hotel. $6 gypsy shuttle runs from Jfk blvd to city bus depot. I wouldn't recommend bringing kids to this hotel unless u want to teach them about life.

Don't come here expecting a five star resort, its a place a sleep. The room I stayed in was fairly clean. The beds aren't very comfortable but after walking around New York City for 8 hours, it works! Hotel is close to public transit (I took the Journal Square PATH train to NYC). All in all if your looking for something with lots of amenities, go elsewhere. But if you just need a place to sleep this place is just fine.

THE WORSE HOTEL STAY I booked for a week on orbitz and got a non smoking room that smelled so bad. They sprayed my room with fabreze but the guy came and started to spray as soon as I opened the door specially on my shoes..... I asked to keep the spray he said no.. stains on the wall dust everywhere and I had to ask 3 times so they can vacuum my room finally on the 5th night they did cause I got mad... DON'T STAY HERE I DNT MIND THE BAD REVIEWS CAUSE SOME PPL ARE TO PICKY BUT I LEARNED MY LESSON
