This is a great park with really amazing views of the tri-state area. It is definitely a hidden gem in Brooklyn.

It's a great park. There are so many fields to.play sports and activities. We can even see the statute of liberty on top of the hill. There are also sand to play with. There are also tables and seats to rest.

It's a small park and nice to have, but really isn't much too it besides the views of lower Manhattan since it's on a hill. Has a basketball court, handball and public outdoor swimming pool. It is easily crowded and noisy on the weekends and summer early eveings, being small and neighborhood park.

I wish the neighborhood took more pride in this park and kept it cleaner. Tons of garbage and plastic bags, bottles and trash left everywhere and no one seems to pick up after themselves and the grass needs more tending too and the landscaping could be better cared for by the Parks Department and or neighborhood/schools/garden community.

With that said it is however a diverse mix of Spanish and Chinese which gives it a unique cultural experience. You have the evening Tai Chi and Chinese line exercises which is great to watch and makes you thunk you've traveled to another parr of the world and the park itself is very family oriented with young and old enjoying it.

It does keep to its name sake "Sunset Park" offering beautiful sunset views. With the diversity, there is plenty of eats around and cheap stores and fruit stands. I wouldn't dismiss getting outdoors and enjoying the park, just would be great to keep it cleaner and have more thoughtful people pick up after themselves from a picnic, hence 3 stars.

Since it's on a hill you get a nice view of Brooklyn and beyond, Manhatten skyline and the Hudson River. Great local park! good for walks and views, nice open erea, sports field and children facilities. Stunning views!
