High prices and terrible, unfriendly service.

Super convenient, never disappointed. Def try a panini sandwich.

We tried to return a meat thermometer. I overlooked the meat and it still hadn't risen to nearly a safe temperature on the gauge. We were told we can't return it because it was open.

We tried to explain that yes, we had used it but wanted to return it because the thermometer was not accurate. The manager put it in hot water and told us the gauge was moving so the thermometer was working. We tried to explain that yes the gauge moves but it is not accurate. We asked if she knew what the water temperature was. She said she didn't know. We asked how she could tell us it was accurate if she didn't know what the actual temperature was. She kept saying the gauge was moving up so it wasn't defective. The conversation went in circles.

"So you don't have a policy on returning defective goods?"
"No"

You could tell her mindset was "no" and I wasn't going to be able to make the return no matter what.

I left the item and receipt and will be taking my service elsewhere. It bums me out a little because i had always defended them did a majority of my groceries there. If they had been even mildly nice or helpful I could let it go, but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Id rather they had just told me they don't return opened goods, rather than try to prove me wrong by sticking it in hot water and telling me I was cooking the meat wrong.

Terrible customer service experience. I get in line at one of the registers and wait patiently for the guy in front of me to finish, but when I get to the register, the cashier refuses to ring me up. She points to a group of people standing in front of one of the salad bars and says that the line is there. There's no sign, there's no indication that's where you're supposed to line up. But instead of just ringing me up and telling me kindly that for next time, since there's no sign, I'm supposed to line up in a place that blocks the salad bar, she refuses me service. Bad choice. Bad training. Bad first experience

Yeah, yeah, it's expensive. This is not a place where you would go for your weekly food shopping. It's just a convenient, yummy place where you can go at 1 in the morning to pick up a quick handmade sandwich and other necessities you need. My experience with Sunac only had me dealing with fresh food and products. If you're going to be using your debit/credit cards, you have to spend at least ten bucks. In this store, that's easy. Just buying two things brings you over ten. The people working there seem like they are all on suicide watch. If I lived in the area, I'd love having this place around. Walking to the bus from a show and being hungry, spotting this 24 gem was fantastic. Had a delicious Chipotle Chicken panini.
