Suits And Skirts Cleaners

I have nothing but good things to say about Suits and Skirts. The cleaner has always done a great job with my suits and gets the clothes back promptly. No one is perfect, but the one time I had a problem, they were fantastic.

Recently, they didn’t pick up my dry cleaning so it wasn’t ready on Thursday night when I had expected. When I called at 9pm to inquire, the employees were super apologetic. I needed the clothes for Friday because I was flying somewhere for the weekend. After hanging up with the person, I got a call from one of the partners who said he was personally handling the situation. Instead of just apologizing, they picked up the clothes, cleaned them and delivered them to my office the next morning so I could have them for my flight. I think that there are few, if any, dry cleaners in the city that would do that.

There is a reason they offer a Yelp deal right now, because they probably never receive repeat business. Why you ask? Oh, let me tell you.

On Saturday, I drop off two coats to be cleaned and am told I will receive them Tuesday. Fine, no problem there and payment was easy. Tuesday night I receive both my coats back and the first one is still dirty but my other coat HAS BEEN RIPPED APART. On the collar there were two hooks that connected my coat together that were GONE.

I took my coat back Wednesday morning, extremely upset because this is an EXPENSIVE coat. It kept me alive during this winter. I ask for a manager who is coincidentally not there. I tell the girl at the counter what happened and demand a manager call me that day to discuss what happened. I give her the coat back and she says they will fix it. NO APOLOGY FOR DESTROYING MY COAT AND NOT EVEN MENTIONING IT.

I receive my coat back the next day with two really ugly, poor quality hooks barely attached to the new coat. I am furious.

I have tried contacting the manager several times but to no avail. Oh and my coat is still dirty looking. They are a horrible HORRIBLE company. NEVER GO THERE.

Suits And Skirts on 34th has become my cleaners of choice. A clean and well organized facility with the latest equipment, and a staff that is 2nd to none. Enjoy the quick turn around times and the fast and friendly service. They have the best operating hours in the city (til 10PM most weekdays). Everyone on my floor uses them.
