I brought my 99 mustang here for them to change the oil. Biggest mistake I've ever made there customer service is pathetic there unskilled workers can't even fill my oil correctly I'm a quart low. My girlfriend also came here once they stripped her oil pan and told her it was just normal wear. Are you kidding and to top this all off I was talking to the guy telling him what oil I need 5w30 he goes and puts 5w20. Also he charged me for full synthetic oil the work order which he changed thinking I didn't realize said part synthetic 20 dollar difference. I do not recommend anyone coming here

I was very displeased with the quality of service at STS in Hazlet. I came to get my oil changed and the mechanic was a young, new employee who did not know how to take care of a customer's car. What upset me the most was the filth. I had just come from getting my car washed and this guy covered my car in oil and dirt. I don't even know how someone could touch so many different places on a car when doing an oil change. The windows, windshield, steering wheel, doors, and door handles on the inside and outside were disgusting, and in some spots there was some white crap that I have no idea what it was. He didn't put a paper mat down, so my floor mat was covered in oily muck.
He also spilled oil all over the engine compartment, which I had to clean up so it wouldn't start to smoke. He didn't know how to put my car in reverse, and when I saw him trying to reverse but go forward instead, I told the manager that he needed to push the shifter down to get it in reverse. (I was trying to watch from inside the waiting area) The manager said, "He's new, I'm going to let him struggle with it for a minute." I was going to say something about how I'd rather he not struggle with my gears but then the kid figured it out on his own. The kid also forgot to put on a oil change reminder sticker until I asked for one. Why is it so hard to get oil changed correctly and not have dirty oil splattered everywhere? I will not come back to this place.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the manager of STS in Hazlet and he apologized about what had happened. He offered to get my car detailed, which I declined, and then offered a free Mobile 1 oil change for next time. I appreciate the fact that he took the time and consideration to contact me to address my dissatisfaction. Because of this I changed my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

the only reason they get a star is because they have no negative stars and i cannot post without it.I just came from my local sts dealer in highland park nj. on woodbridge ave.. I purchased a set of tires for my vehicle. I must start off by saying that they did the job quickly. aside from that, my experience was straight out of a bad movie. the salesman is rude, condescending and uninterested in listening to the customer or customer satisfaction . i told him i was looking at tires online and what i was looking for, he rudely only gave me only two choices, not what they had in stock (as i was informed online). we were in a room full of tires, and i could only buy one of the two he wanted to sell. i asked him to take my best tire and make it my spare and change the rest. he didn't. he said it will cost me an additional $30 to change it out for me.He said i would have had to pay for it anyway. i told him, no, you should have taken the good one and put it up for the spare and change the other four. the conversation disintegrated and when i left, we were yelling at each other. I have never been in such a hard sell,money hungry and forget the customer atmosphere before ever, anywhere. i am completely disgusted with them and will never go back again. i am also going to go out of my way to spread this word, and let people what kind of scam this place is. people like that should never be in business.
