My wife found Jorge online when we had to find someone to take care of our 2 female cats since our neighbor moved. One cat loves everyone, the other there's no grey area with. You're in or you're out, ha. Friends come over, and if she doesn't like them, like my brother unfortunately, she lets them know. Not aggressively. But you definitely know you won't be getting any holiday or bday greetings from her. Jorge came over to meet with us, they were interested, and the fickle one hopped on the chair he was sitting in and started playfully rolling around. We didn't interview anyone else after that.

We LOVE that he has to scan in and scan out, is very thorough, and that he sends pics. These animals, like I'm sure everyone else reading this can attest, are practically blood. They're not pets, they're family. My wife and I mostly work at home (she's in the city a lot more than I am), and they are with us in whatever room we're in 99% of the time. No hiding, sweet natured, greet us at the door, sleep and snuggle with us, etc. So finding someone who we know will be there to give them the attention and care they need is tops. We don't want someone saying they were there and then wasn't. That's just horrible. Added plus is he used to work in a vet office with animals, so it's a passion. Not a hobby. Can't recommend Jorge enough.

Jorge and his dad have been taking care of Bozu for quite sometime. Its hard to find a good dog walking company in this area. Majority is so commercialized that you really feel as if you are sending your dog to a factory. These guys are personalized, flexible & humble. I am extremely picky and at times annoying and they yet meet all my needs with a smile. They are always on time and they use this GPS/geotagging service that puts my mind at rest.

I met Jorge at the Dog park while he was walking another dog. My dogs instantly wanted to say Hi to the other dog at the other side of the fence. Needless to say that's how this all started. I asked him if I could have his card since my previous dog walker was no longer available and was really in need of one. We scheduled a Sat meet and greet for him to meet my two Catahula Leopards, 10 and month old. We went over the paperwork and he asked me if there were any special needs my dog needed. I had just rescued one of my pups and Vinnie was still adjusting to his new home and sister Chloe. Vinnie and I were still working on his leash training and advised Jorge to walk them separately because he tended to pull a lot, even with his harness on. During his first week he made several suggestions, the two most important ones were removing wee wee pads out of the house so that Chloe wouldn't be confused. And to be honest this was the scariest thing to do for me because I didn't want Chloe to just pee anywhere since her normal spots were no longer there. However after Day 1 of no wee wee pads she made a big improvement and has since learned to not pee in the house. Of course it came with work but she has learned very quick. The second suggestions were the type of collars that they had, with the suggestions it's made it easier for me and the less stressful on the dogs now for their walks. The reason why I am continuing to use his services is of course because of the way he cares for the dogs. I've seen him interact and play with them and I know that they are with the right person. Also his background helps a lot knowing that if anything happens that he would do his best to take care of them. Bottom line I highly recommend him to who ever reads this review. He sends pictures and I absolutely love the end of the walk report card.

I have two dogs and since I was traveling, I reached out to Strut your pup for boarding services. I was extremely pleased with Jorge's professionalism and love for animals. From the phone call, to us meeting in person, I knew my pups would be in good hands. Jorge made sure to update me every day and shared pictures/videos, which confirmed they were okay (put my mind at ease). He catered to each dog differently, meeting their needs and making sure he followed their every day routines (petting, walking, etc). I would definitely consider SYP in the near future and I recommend them to everyone.
