STK Downtown & Rooftop

Terrible... Food & Service was bad. I really hate complaining but this would definitely not be a recommendation.. Don't waste your time and effort. The amount of salt in the #ShortRib is enough to kill a hippo. My head is pounding... Chicken was bland and the steak smells horrible. Spoke to a Manager, Who told me she would replace it for a charge Lol. She said I can't take it back but you can order something else... Lol. This is what happens when you settle. If you like spending money spend it elsewhere, complaining honestly makes you sounds cheap. Therefore I'm choosing not to return. I'm disappointed!!

Amazing food. Everything we had was delicious from the homemade bread that comes with the meal to the scallops and half a chicken I got as an entree. Service was attentive and friendly. Prices are steep but nothing you wouldn't expect from a cool place in meatpacking. My favorite was the DJ who played an amazing set of mostly Beyoncé.

Beautiful space, I went about 6pm so it was a little quite. I took someone for birthday dinner, the staff knew it was thus person's bday and they treated us exceptionally well. We received complimentary assortment of ice creams, which I thought was a big deal for such a big restaurant.
I will be returning very soon as a girls night out, the dj had all the right mixes.

After coming here for four years, and many wonderful experiences, today was the day I will never come back.

Friday nights STK becomes a happening spot. It has a live DJ that spins great music. It's a hotspot for someone in their mid twenties to late thirties.

I made a reservation for 11:00. We arrived at 10:48. I requested a booth and after 40 minutes of waiting we were seated at one of their smaller booths. (Keep in mind the horses that seated us forgot who we were when I went to f/u on our seating AND she forgot we had an 11 reservation and acted like we were late). The booth next to us wrapped up within minutes so we asked our waiter if we can move to the open booth. He asked the hostess and she said NO because there were other reservations. We ordered, I went to the bathroom and when I came back the food was there and there was a couple sitting in that booth which is fit for at least four.

I feel the hostess was RACIST and was difficult because we were Caucasian and because I went up to her and said we have been waiting for 40 minutes with a reservation. We told the manager about the situation. He offered us a round of drinks which we didn't want. He offered us dessert, again which we didn't want. In the end, after us having our food wrapped up with barely touching it, they took 30% off which was $25. I was insulted and very upset that we were treated as if we were walk ins and as if we weren't good enough because of our race to be moved to a more roomy table.

I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO STK and I WONT BE RECOMMENDING ANYONE TO THIS STEAKHOUSE.
