Mover’s disaster
-Pick up was suppose to be on Oct 7th 8 am they asked if they could move it to 4pm –they showed up at 8:45pm
-Storage unit gate closes at 10:00 they threw all my belongings in the truck then went out side the gate and was wrapping my things out side.
-It was 11:30 pm when they said they were done. Promised to wrap my chairs at storage.
-Could not see paper work and was pleasured to sign off on it in the dark because they had all my belongings.
-They also charged me an extra $500.00 dollars and said to take it up with Frank then next day.
-My belongings were suppose to be put in storage for a month free in NJ
- I spoke to frank the next day with all my concerns and his response was he had to wait to see the paper work
- Called a week later and said he still did not receive the paper work
-Oct 17th from the pick up I receive a call from the company and say they are delivering my things in Fla I explain they are suppose to be in storage in NJ.
I speak to Frank immediately after the phone call and he assures me that my things will be put in storage in fla I asked him again if my wooded table Chairs were wrapped correctly and he assured me they were.
Once again a week later I receive a call that they are delivering my things to Fla I once again told them I was not in Fla and that my delivery date was suppose to be
-They were a day late from when they were to deliver my belongings.
-The day of the delivery it was suppose to be at 8am I call the contact person Jimmy he told me the driver never showed up to pick him up.
- My belongings were not accounted for over 5 hours. -I get a phone call from someone who cannot speak very good English, who had my phone number and wanted Jimmy’s number. He said he was the Driver and lost his phone and was at a casino.
-4 hours after that my things arrived crushed, broken and not packed correctly.
-When unpacking my belongings I cam across a box that was not mine. I called Frank Mack Right away.
-He said he would get back to me, which he never did. The box contained a woman’s X-rays from a serious accident. I recently called him and he told me he contacted his men. I never herd from them. I told him I was going to throw this stuff away it’s over a month and clogging up my house. He said” go ahead”.
- My wife opened her guitar case to play her guitar and her good guitar was STOLEN and a cheap guitar was put in the case as a replacement. Once again no response from Frank

We had a terrible experience with Stevens when moving from Providence, RI to Orlando, FL. First, the movers that came to pick up our belongings asked us for a 15% tip (our total was about 1600) and told us that "waitresses get tipped 20% and we do way more work" UNBELIEVABLE. Then we were promised that we would recieve a phone call 24 hours before the movers arrived in Orlando. That NEVER happened, we got a call at 7am saying they would be there in two hours. My boyfriend had to leave work in order to be home for them, since he was given absolutely no notice and a 4 day window that they would be there. JOE RUSSO was the worst part of this entire experience. My boyfriend called him to complain about the unprofessional manner of the drop off, and received an EXTREMELY sarcastic response of "What are you mad about? Your stuff was there in time - are you mad that you were inconvenienced? too bad." We also ended up with a box that belongs to another family and have no way of returning it to its rightful owner, as there is no information on it.

When he told Joe that he was going to report him to the BBB, Joe responded with "Have a nice fourth of July, Go F*** Yourself" and hung up on him.

NEVER use this company, and if you do - steer clear of the rude incompetence that is Joe Russo.

Stevens Relocation has amazing service, professional people, affordable prices and quick service. I relocated from NY to Chicago and everything was perfect from beginning to end. I spoke with Anthony Demarco who gave me an estimate which was very accurate. The men who came to get my belongings were fast, polite, and punctual. My delivery was on the day I requested, with all my items intact and still wrapped perfectly. Definitely impressed with this company and will use them again in the future. Thank you!!
