Steve imports the limes from Florida and makes the most delicious authentic Key Lime Pie in New York. This is one of my favorite spots to visit in the summer for dessert. Grab a frozen pie smothered in chocolate and dine on the picnic tables out in front of his small shop.

Moving from Florida, it is really hard to find key lime pie that lives up to the hype. Steve's is one that lives up to the hype. Even though it isn't the best key lime pie I have ever had, it is pretty close. I love the shop and it is right near a really cool dock in red hook. I also love the chocolate dipped key lime pie here!

We came here after the Van Brunt Stillhouse tour, and though the hours on the website are sort of flaky, they were luckily still open when we stopped by at about 5 pm on Sat. You can get chocolate-dipped "swingles" in various flavors, or a regular 8" pie for $20 (clearly the more cost effective option if you have a group). They were even nice enough to give us a free swingle after we bought a few items! There's a couple picnic tables in front where you can sit down and immediately inhale your pie(s).

After hearing about your company during the TCS New York City marathon 2015, I just had to try my favorite dessert, key lime pie. I pleaded with my husband to drive into NY from our home in New Jersey so he drove into Manhattan and purchased the key lime pie from Zabar's.
Your key lime pie is the best I ever had!

Stopped by on a planned walking tour through Red Hook - decided to forgo the Swingle but my wife and I feasted on an 8" key lime pie for twenty bucks.
DELICIOUS. Perfect mix of that tartness you want from key limes and sweetness - but not too sweet. Also the crust is nice, hearty and tasty.
