Steak 'n Shake

It's the only Steak 'n Shake in the region. The burgers and shakes are worth the trip.

My family and I wanted to try it since we never had it before. I hear people talking about it all the time. Our booth was dirty so we had someone clean it. She forgot to clean the seats. So they had this young boy clean it. He look to young to have working papers....lol The fries were ok. My aunt didn't care for the hot dog. Overall my mint oreo shake was good!!!!

2 stars because it's edible food. French fries are mediocre at best and if you swapped them out for McDonald's fries I might not know the difference. The fry containers are small and left mostly empty. The Steak burgers are also mediocre. They tasted like a burger I'd get at any diner, dressed up with every condiment on Earth. No competition for a Five Guys burger. They are rather small for the price. The milkshakes are nice, thick shakes with good flavor, but could be replicated easily by visiting a Sonic.

Overall, my expectations were not met and I probably won't visit again. The price of the food isn't reflected in the quality or quantity. If you want the "Steak 'n Shake" experience done right, get your burger and fries at Five Guys and stop at Sonic for a shake on the way back.

The food is the same as your standard steak n shake except they advertise themselves as a signature location (only one of two in the chain) so they don't accept any coupons, nor do they offer the happy hour that makes steak n shake so awesome. Their prices are also much more expensive than the others by roughly 40 - 50%. Very disappointed that this wasn't like the steak n shakes that I love when road tripping through the south.
