Staten Island Physician Practice

Erin Garcia LISTENS & KNOWS HER SH*T!..My primary doc was closed so headed to HIP CENTER. Tho there's plenty of chairs, reading material & tv, the wait was less than desireable...(feel better evbody!)..I can honestly say it was worth the wait. I was educated, propperly diagnosed & on way to recovery-how a doctors visit should play out!

The wait in the Urgent Care office wasn't too bad when I got there (about 45+ minutes) considering that they forgot about me and I needed to remind the bored, mostly rude and apathetic receptionist that I was still waiting. 'Why didn't they take you yet?' Who's they?!

Whatever you do, DO NOT try to call them on the phone for any reason. I spent 11 minutes on hold during my first call before being hung up on, 12+ minutes on the second call before being disconnected, only 2 minutes to get hung up on the third time, and when I finally pushed the option for 'if you're a physician' it only took 6 minutes to speak to someone. All of this to get a doctors note sent over!?!?

I think we're all used to poor customer service from our doctors offices, but this was really, really annoying. Sorry Doctor, but get used to bad reviews until you fix your staff's issues!

Surprised I've been going here my whole life and I'm very surprised I had blood work about a month ago and the new lady that does the blood work put the needle in so rough I had a Huge bruise for a couple of weeks the same thing happened to my sister who had gotten blood work about a week before and what really disappoints me is I'm trying to call to get my results they never pick up the phone and I left a message last week and they still never called back I feel like it went from a great place to an eh place where the new workers are complete morons and the older workers don't care anymore
