Stay Away... They gave me a quote and charged my credit card but never showed up to do the work! The contact number they gave for the so called moving day manager was a cell phone that always went straight to voicemail with a full mailbox. They must have caller ID as numerous call to the main number are now going unanswered.

I am going to beat all the bad reviews! So our move was on time and I listed items for them as well. But after loading stuff, the mexican guy tells me we have to pay $400 or they won't deliver. We had an infant in hand cryin n there they stood asking for money or else they won't release our goods. A nightmare.. Cheap price but really inconsiderate bunch of A's..

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!! I can not stress this enough! Star city movers made an already stressful move even more stressful! It was such a horrible experience that I really couldn't believe that it was my reality. I had an appointment time between 1 & 2 pm for a Friday. Even confirmed with KC the field manager at 10am to make sure. 2pm came and I called KC to find out what was going on with my movers. He replied that he would call me right back. Never heard back from him the entire day!!! I called the main office and spoke to a gentleman named Kerry who tried his best to help me figure out what was going on from the office site. He said that the drivers truck broke down which I later found out was a lie. 4 pm came around and still no word of where my movers were at all. Called the main office again and there was no answer. Finally one of the movers contacted me at around 4:30 and said that they ran late with a previous appointment. Well thanks for telling me you're running late after 2 hours of no information! So he told me that they were on their way and that they were coming from New Jersey. I was moving from New York to New Jersey and now had to wait for the movers to come in rush hours traffic on a Friday afternoon! The movers called me to tell me they were stuck in traffic and if I wanted to reschedule. I went off! I said I cannot reschedule because I have work the next two days and I have to be out of my apartment by the 31st and that's why I scheduled them for today! So the movers finally made it to my house at 9:30pm! Almost 8 hours late!!! The 3 men walked through my door with an attitude as if they were annoyed that they had to move my things. They didn't finish moving my items until 1:15am! Then we still had to drive to New Jersey which was 1 & 1/2 hour commute. They arrived to my new apartment after me at 3:30 am. The 3 men argued continuously amongst themselves throughout the entire move. Their unprofessionalism was beyond words! At one point one of the movers argued that my bed frame wouldn't fit through my second bedroom door and if they could move it into another room. I told them no because the bed was suppose to be in the room designated for it. They had absolutely no tools on them to take apart my bed frame to fit it through the door. 6:45 am came and the driver of the truck said that they couldn't put my bedframe and other furniture back together because they had another appointment to attend to. So I was left with my things disassembled and to make matters worse I had no sleep and had to get ready for work at that point. I really think this place needs to go out of business because I have never in my life had such a horrible experience. I can honestly say that this was the worst day of my life.

DONT EVER USE THIS COMANY- THEY ARE THE WORST LYING THIEVING GYPSIES THAT EVER WALKED THE FACE OF THE EARTH.

This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They were almost 22 hours late to my move, and everything shown up was wet, broken, scratched, chipped, ripped and to top it off, I am still missing boxes full of items including my TV and our entertainment center. The owner and the manager have not returned my phone calls or emails to try to make this better. They still haven't found or returned any of my missing items and they haven't rushed to get the TV that they delivered to my house that isn't even mine!

Do yourself a favor and hire someone else, these people are a nightmare!

WARNING!!!!! Regret! It was a nightmare. Cheap price=cheap labor. Inept, deceiving workers. 9 hours late. Driver was too young. Both new and old movers are talented In the art of deception . I experienced SIGNIFICANT property damage! They don't seem to care. Owner (should have stayed a mover!) does not have effective procedures or policies in place as it is, let alone handle his expansion into NY. Secretary should work for Oscar Meyer. Greed is the motivator here! A disgrace to morality and capitalism.
