Stanley's Pharmacy

New to the neighborhood. Googled "Pharmacy" to find a place to buy a lip balm. Stanley's was only a block away so I went... what a great place. It's all smiles, sunshine (there's a great wallpaper of a caribean beach) and excellent products. The gave me a 4 u$s lip balm that is the best I've had in my life. It's organic, it's fair trade, and it's perfect.

This is my favorite Pharmacy in NYC... if you can even call it a Pharmacy. It is a Pharmacy redefined... no more boring, corporate, manufactured feeling of getting shuffled in and out. Stanley is a pleasure to chat with, and he is not at all some robot manufactured by some pharma school funded by some big pharma company to push buttons and sell whatever the TV commercials convinced you to get. He is genuine, friendly, knowledgeable, and open minded about pharmacology. He looks at what other cultures might have used for centuries, including herbal and probiotic remedies along with a myriad of different ways you can naturally heal. Not to mention he has Kombucha that TASTES DELICIOUS and comes right out of a TAP! Also his coffee is on point. I literally feel like I am in living in the future every time I visit this wonderful place. I highly recommend this to anyone in the neighborhood who is sick of the nasty conditions inside the Duane Reades and Rite Aids across the city. Its about time for a pharmacy revolution to start in NYC and Stanley's is a spark that this city needs to embrace!
