A decent place to grab a bottle of wine in a pinch, but prices are very high. The selection is largely from Costco and prices are jacked up. Be prepared to be followed around the store by the four employees who essentially take up the whole small space. Selection is pretty good and there is a good variety of wine from many regions and varietals. Still better than buying a bottle at a restaurant.

Hate it. They don't even answer the phone when you are trying to call! Like, really if you don't even have friendly staff, why do u not answer the phone.

Friendly helpful staff. Good selection of high quality wines for a small store.

I live a block away from the store and bought wine on a weekly basis from this place. Most of the time, I was impressed with the service. A couple of the people that work there seem to know their stuff and often make good recommendations. However, I sometimes have to deal with other staff that are rude and could care less if I provided patronage. Considering that they deal in commodities and there are other liquor stores close by, not worth playing roulette.

My brother tried to buy wine with his credit card and was asked for his driver's license to verify identity, which seemed entirely reasonably. The cashier went on to stare at his ID for about 30 seconds, before asking why his ID said "Joe" but his credit card said "Joseph" and then proceeded to give us a suspicious look as if he had stolen the credit card. After trying to explain that some people have nicknames, the manager, standing beside the cashier, asked why anyone would have 2 different names. Save yourself the interrogation and head to the other wine shop on W Broadway.
