It's a good mixture of buffet food. But late in the day it becomes a madhouse. Rowdy kids making a mess. Not quality patrons. I stopped going there

We've eaten here many many times and enjoyed it every time. It took me 6 years to even try this place even though I see it all the time going to the Aviation Plaza because of so many bad reviews I saw in the past so I stayed away from it but finally I decided to try it and felt stupid for listening to the reviews actually. They sometimes run out of food and you have to wait for it to be replaced but not too often. They do replace it and some of the food is cold but that's been my experience at all buffets because of course they aren't going to throw away the food that's not been eaten and it may have been there awhile. It's what you get at a buffet. They have awesome fried chicken, fried rice, banana pudding, garlic dinner rolls, meatloaf. I pretty much eat the same things again and again because they are my favorites. They have variety of choices which is great. But if they could find a way to keep the food a bit warmer that would be nice. The servers are always friendly and will talk with you if you talk to them. The cashier even gave us a free meal out of nowhere which was so nice!! The place is clean and nice to look at, has a homey feel. I'd recommend going for lunch which is $9 a person instead of dinner which is close to $14 and all you get are some steaks (which I heard aren't great) and not sure what else but it's definitely not worth it, just go for lunch it's cheaper and you get great food.

Excellent food. The decor was okay, but maintenance seemed to sweep a lot while I was eating my food (don't get me wrong, I do not mind it; just that it was too often). I think they were a little over-priced for their buffet-style service. Also, they had no plates and meats to keep-up with their demand (to their defense, we did so happen to show-up on their Mother's Day). The tables were a bit dirty from last customers using it. Overall, it was a okay, good experience. Our waiter was great, and she tried her best to make sure we were satisfied. It did touch me to see how many service awards and letters showcasing their community involvement (great job guys and gals), while waiting on a 30-45 minute line!

Im throwing a party this saturday and i had to changed places. The place is dirty and dirty. The food is cold and nasty. Why did i ever come in here. The black cook named Loen was cursing in spanish and it was not a pleasant sight. I will never come here again and the reviews are wrong about this place. The place went down hill since it open in 2007 . Waste of money and dont come.

Southern Smokehouse is one of the best places and they provide their clients with a best service. The place is very clean and very beautiful. The food is very delicious and the prices were great. I would like to give them more than FIVE stars If I could. I highly recommend them.
