We stumbled upon this gem. Food with soul. The love Ciro has comes through in every dish. Been in this city twnenty years and have rarely come across food as authentic; It's so much more than pizza.

I never leave any reviews because they benefit me no way, but I feel compelled to say this is some of the best pizza in NYC, which is to say possibly the world.

Napule is the name of of Naples in that city's local dialect, and Ciro brings true modern Naples food and personality to Houston Street in this small spot. Seating is a matter of luck or having a reservation. Great Naples style pizza (this is where it comes from, folks), and really excellent pasta and other authentic dishes. Expect to be talked to and treated like an old friend of the family, including recommendations on what to order (which you should follow), songs, more food than you ordered, and if you're lucky some jokes at your expense. This is southern hospitality, Italian style, and finally with a liquor license (new in 2016).
