A very very poor experience. security were shockingly rude to everyone, snatched are tickets then ordered us all onto a lift that didn't work .
Spiral gallery was closed that day so there were three small galerys with some pretty poor photography . the permenant collection was good but not much there. In all I spent 15 mins in there and most of that was spent on the stairs.
Your better off going over the road the met musium , that was outstanding

Fabulous collection of early 20th century European paintings indeed! I have had the privilege of visiting twice and will visit any time I am in town. My first experience here took my breath away and I spent hours admiring all of the work. I highly recommend taking a day or two if possible to visit the Guggenheim!

The circular building was fun at first, but very quickly it make you tired and uncomfortable. The security people are not polite and give no respect and watch you like criminal. The collection, to be honest, is not impressive. We all know that modern art can be great or can be crap, depend on who is talking. In my opinion most of the pieces here are crap. And yes, I do know a bit about modern art.

Fantastic museum, with an incredible architecture. Main exhibition was on On Kawara and - among others - his famous date painting, using also Esperanto.
Various rooms with permanent exhibitions were all good. Decent sandwiches and drinks for breaks.

Really amazing exhibit. The unique roundabout way of the museum layout makes browsing the main exhibit incredibly simple. Each piece was thoughtfully displayed - with lighting, additional dry walls or suspensions added. Never felt crammed and rushed. The hidden smaller rooms (exhibits) are such a treat as well. Tickets are pricey tho - 25 for an adult.
