I love Snack Taverna. It's delicious, simple, and not too crowded. If you want to get an amazing brunch in the west village but don't want to wait in line for an hour or so, go there.

Lovely place; there's room for about 30 people so it feels cosy but not too cramped.
Menu is limited but tasty. We tried the sampler of sauces served with pita bread and one of the shrimp dishes cooked in tomato sauce. They were both delicious! We were given more pita on request.
Less attentive service in the beginning than i would have liked, but once we ordered the waiters kept coming around periodically to check on us.
Don't miss the almond candies on your way out. They are in a ceramic bowl at the bar on the side next to the door.

Great, fresh, delicious "nouvelle greek". I love this place. Interesting menu that changes. A gem for the Village.
