SIXTY SoHo Hotel

We Had few friends visiting from Miami, and wanted to show them some rooftop bars for cocktails. Have been invited to this one many times by promoters begging to come for weeks. So finally decided to give it a try especially since it was a good time to show friends this new place. In the lobby a African American hostess/security guard stopped us as we were walking to the elevator and asked if we were staying in the hotel. We said no, and he replied that we can't go to rooftop then, even though this place is open to public. I told him it doesn't make any sense, we've been invited here and we're promised that it will be hassle free and top service. He said sorry can't help. While we were trying to reason with him, 2 other customers also African American walked in who were not guests either as they looked totally lost and looked around trying to find elevator, and he let them in right in front of us and scanned the card to get them in elevator without asking any question. I couldn't believe that such level of discrimination still exist in our society today. We quickly concluded without further reasoning the "hostess" was arrogant and rude so we left. Will never come back and would not recommend to anyone.

Didn't like it at all. The service was extremely bad! The black guy at the door was so rude today! Our friends where staying at the rooftop and we stop by to have drinks with them, and look for a place to stay for tonight. The guy "hostess" at the door didn't let us in, explaining that we ate not welcome there! Wow! Really? In 2 minutes black girl waked in and he let her in, even she said that she was not a guest at this hotel! Total discrimination against white people in this place! Wanted to check it out before getting a room, but decided to go somewhere else! Very discussed with this place!

Great location. Excellent staff. Incredible rooftop views. Wish I could have stayed longer.

The staff was very friendly and helpful we were planning on only staying one night and then we asked if they had any ope room available and Allie was super sweet and took care of us.. we had booked a bight at the 500 w hotel ... don't stay there ever !its horrible. .. i loved this place it was walking distance from everything!

My personal experience was a little bit different I actually got to stay there for free due to someone else paying for me to stay there work related, but my experience was amazing the hotel in genral had good breakfast, bathrooms are huge took a couple selfies lol, beds were comfortable and so soft, especially if you had a companion there with you, um TVand wifi service was great too, it was just an overall amazing experience. if I had an opportunity to stay there again I would
