ShopRite of Wallington

Great job Shop Rite!
With 26 aisles this new Shop Rite is among the largest. Clean and roomy with a pleasant atmosphere and courteous workers. There is a food court where you can get a fresh sub sandwich or a quick meal. I enjoy shopping here. Only drawback is parking might be inadequate at very heavy shopping times. This will be my regular store and I recommend it. The recent addition of the bench outside rates this store a 5.

Large store with friendly staff. They even have an aisle just for gluten free foods. Just wish they stayed open late; especially on weekends.

They need to re-do the isle signs. The coffee isle doesn't even say coffee , and they have 2 bar soap isles and 2 deodorant isles. But the signs only say 1 isle for each. I got a rain check for Coast Soap that was on sale because it wasn't in the soap isle. It was in the isle next to it that doesn't say soap in that isle. Very confusing layout. They should of had the same layout as the old Shop-Rite on 8th street in Passaic. I feel like I spend to much time in that store when I don't need too. They need a suggestion box for customers. And another thing the female manager is no help either , when I asked why you have soap and deodorant in 2 different isles , she looked at me as too why are you asking me this. A couple of days later I spoke to a male manager who is new to this store and said I was right about all this and he will see that the signs for the isles are corrected.

Eliminates the need to drive to the Lodi or Lyndhurst stores. Early opening issues (in May 2015) had been the parking lot traffic and long checkout lines. Other early ShopRite issues have been corrected -- cart management (inside & outside), congestion spots in the store, etc... My only remaining (personal) gripe is that a "faux-brick"-exterior like the one featured in Lodi would be more attractive. Also, I appreciate the efforts to improve the outside landscaping, and encourage continued dedication there. My nitpicking aside, this is a welcome addition to the neighborhood and it will thrive for years. A smart business decision by the Inserra family, and a great location. Lastly, I would speculate that the expected ShopRite congestion will ensure that the Carlstadt Plaza Stop & Shop retains most of its loyal customer base which has come to enjoy a pleasant shopping experience with that store's spotless interior, attractive parking lot, and additional nearby shopping options such as Harmon, Wine Grand, & Biba Laundry.

This Shop Rite is amazing. I have personally worked for wakefern for a few years and I have seen my share of ship rites. What they were able to accomplish with this new design is upscale atmosphere with every day low prices and top notch customer service. With all these great attributes how can you refuse. It's a store that when you walk in you kind of don't even want to walk out. The selection is great, the store is super clean. You have surely earned a customer for a long time. Thank you
