Terribly crowded and many people grab the oversized BJ's carts and bring them in making the small aisles even harder to pass through.

It is located at a convenient place. When Jersey City was a ghetto 10 years ago this wasn't a grocery store you wanted to visit. But now that Jersey City is re developed and got some educated crowd, this outfit is a go to place for your regular food needs. Pricey is reasonable. Packed with people always.

This place is not up to suburban Shoprite standards. I've shopped in ShopRite since I was a baby. I've also worked in consumer research at various supermarket chains including ShopRite. Service is nowhere near par. The quality of produce is far below par. Often I see a banana display greener than grass. Often the fish guy complains when I ask for 1 pound and won't accept 1.3 pounds. I wish I had more time to travel to a suburban store such as Springfield, but often I don't.

What do i like about this supermarket well to tell u the truth, i don't like it. "I LOVE IT" i reside in manhattan n i go there every week to do my shopping a this supermarket they always have everything in stock n the best things very cheap. Thank you shop rite.

I like this place actually. There's an excellent selection to choose from, and it's pretty cheap! The produce is always fresh, and they always have what I need.
Only complaint is the cashiers aren't friendly, and will just carry on conversations with other cashiers as they ring up your things, and won't say a word to you or even look your way.
I don't really care that much, but I think it would make a big difference if they focused on customer service just a little.
