Great, honest people. I inadvertently left my phone at the Diner and the staff attempted to contact me, to the best of their abilities - and they succeeded! City Diner has good food and a great ambience. Would highly recommend to family/friends.

I've actually never been in here but I order from them all the time. The food, no matter what you get, is always delicious. Its honestly fascinating that they do such an amazing job with so many different kinds of cuisine. My only gripe is price. It seems like a lot of the wraps and sandwiches are vastly more expensive than they should be. But the food is so good I keep going back anyway!

Worst service ever. Ordered food for delivery to the hyatt hotel. Waited two hours called again and they said that no one amswered the door. Which is bs bc we have been in the room the whole time. I asked when they didnt call me and they said my phone wasnt working- which is why because it was the phone i called them on. The lady at the resturant was very rude, wouldnt let me finish a sentence and screamed at me. Do not give busienss to these rude people

This place gets packed, but for good reason. .Best breakfast I've had in a while. .prices were great, service was good, breakfast flavors done to another level...just not seeing this on a regular basis any more at most places...home made corn beef hash, bloody marys on point, portions were huge...glad I chose jersey city for breakfast over NYC
