Shobha Financial District

I've been a Shobha fan for a few years now. Love the consistency among the different locations in Manhattan. This location is close to the Wall Street/Rector Street stations. Prices are a premium to other places in NYC but it seems like everyone really loves working here and they take great care of you! Don't forget to bring cash for your tip (can use card to pay for your services).

Ridiculous that they started bothering people over flyers in the streets. Had to say 'no no, thanks' passing by.

Shobha specializes in threading of eyebrows and waxes/sugaring of pretty much everything else. They have multiple locations in the city and they always have someone available for a last minute appointment. Their salon ambiance is very comfortable, bright, and they always have friendly + efficient service. One of my favorite things they offer with every service is a cooling cloth that they apply right after the service (my skin responds to that really well). They only accept cash tips so be prepared for that. I've been to both the Soho location and this one and have only good things to say about them.
