The chief instructor teaches beginners directly and is present at every weekday class. A rare opportunity for the serious student, or a nice place to visit for fitness and mind/body art explorers.

I popped in because i was visiting NY for a couple of days and had lots of free time. They were very welcoming and accommodating. I was just going to watch but a member offered me a Gi and so i joined in. Throughly enjoyed myself.

I have been training here since 2001. It's a friendly environment; welcoming to martial arts students of all backgrounds and experience levels. We're lucky to have Imaizumi Sensei, who studied under the founder of Aikido, teach every weeknight.
