My wife was suffering from an allergic reaction to an insect bite, and her regular doctor was 150 miles away. We found PromptMD via Google and drove over to see them. They were fast and friendly, and we were in and out in an hour with prescriptions. They don't take insurance, but they gave us all the paperwork we need to submit to our insurance company to get reimbursed. These folks are our new "go-to" place for walk-in care.

I woke up one morning with searing pain in my ear and a swollen throat. I debated going to Hoboken University Hospital or PromptMD. I chose the latter and was really glad I did. There was no wait at all to get in to see the doctor, who did a really comprehensive exam and determined I had strep throat. I was in and out of the office in less time than it took CVS to fill the subsequent prescriptions.

Even more importantly I needed to schedule a follow up visit since the antibiotic didn't seem to be working. Dr. Islam took me right away and didn't charge me for the visit. During my time in the exam room, he determined I needed a steroid to provide some relief in my throat. I had not had a chance to eat breakfast before going to the office, so the nurse brought me in a bowl of cereal to coat my stomach before administering the medicine.

The insurance papers were all set up for me to submit to my company, making this not only a pleasant but easy experience.

All in all the service is top-notch. I will definitely return to PromptMD should the need arise in the future.

This was the best doctor I have EVER been to.. He was so helpful and caring and actually cared about my health. He even asked me to come back for a check up to make sure everything was okay, without charging to see him. I went here while I got sick on vacation and I recommend PromptMD to everyone!!! I took my daughter on Sunday morning instead of going to the Emergency Room at the Jersey City Medical Center. She had woken with a severe rash with itching and pain. We saw Dr. Jani Chandrashek in minutes after arriving. He said at once it was not an allergic reaction to the medication she'd been given for a back injury, took a culture, gave us prescriptions, and within hours she was much more comfortable. This is an excellent place to go!

Can every doctor's office be like this? Dr. Jani is so fantastic. I went in Friday night with a persistent ear ache, and he saw me within 5 minutes. No waiting and very little paperwork. His office is clean and his staff is warm and friendly. The pharmacy next door filled my prescription in about 5 minutes. This is the way medicine should be done!! What a great experience.
