I recently had a cut and highlights with Gianna. She did a fabulous job! The cut and color were very on trend. I love my new style. The staff at Shampoo JC are all very friendly. It was overall a very enjoyable experience

I went to Shampoo as I'd heard great things and I was not disappointed! The staff were all very friendly and approachable (some salon front desk staff so often act like they're doing you a favor by speaking to you?!). I was offered a beverage and Jasmarie took care of my haircut. She was lovely and trimmed & styled my hair just as I requested. I'm hoping to return soon as she had some great ideas on color! It is a smaller salon and very popular so advanced booking is highly recommended.

My hair was a few awful shades of browns and black and Francesca is helping me with a color correction to blonde. I need one more process to get where I want to be and so far I am really loving it. The staff was really friendly nice and knowledgable.
The only thing I didn't love was that I was told over the phone it would cost x and then at the end I had an extra charge for foils which I didn't expect. So next time I would just make sure I understand the total price beforehand so no surprises ;)
Overall I loved the salon and people there. I would recommend it!

The staff is great, and I love the atmosphere and the people. Jasmarie cut and styled my hair quick and efficiently, all while running her shop! I was really impressed all around. Can't wait to go back to get color done! If you're looking for a NYC haircut and color without the pretentiousness and extremely high price tag, this should be your pick!

I needed a blowout on short notice and I was able to book an appointment with Rachel. the salon is cute and stylish with great original artwork hanging on the walls - nice vibe! I was offered water or beer when I arrived, which was a nice touch. As for the blowout, Rachel did an excellent job and I left feeling great.
