Great animals but horrible service. It was also very dirty when I went and they were arguing with eachother infront of the costomers.

I volunteer here and I love it. The work they're doing is invaluable and there is no question that the animals come first. This is a no-kill shelter that also specializes in exotic animals--it's very rare to find a place that does both cats/dogs as well as reptiles, birds, Guinea pigs, etc. If you're looking to adopt, stop by Sean Casey Animal Rescue. Find your new best bud.

I adopted a kitten from Sean Casey Animal Rescue and Buttons and I couldn't be happier! The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I felt very comfortable knowing that I could come to them with any questions and I felt that I could trust what they were telling me. It was a wonderful experience!

This is a great shelter and the animals are beautiful. I wanted a puppy and found a beautiful pit bull. I had the money to buy it ( it was over priced about 300). I was going to ask to buy it and then they said I had to purchase a crate for an additional 200. This place is in it for the money when comes to the puppies and it was painful to walk away but the price was too much. If they think a crate will help prevent people from returning the animal they are wrong. The service is not too good either.

I saw this dog through the window in his cage and his face was beautiful so I asked to see him and as soon as he came out I knew that Scooter was mine. He has changed my life as I did his. We walked home in the snow and ice to Park Slope, stopped to have iced coffee and water and that is where the love story begins. We are always in Prospect Park and meet many dogs that were adopted here.
