The food was ok. Just ok. Think Red Lobster quality, fine dining prices. I went for my 40th bday on 9/27/15 and would not be writing this review based on the food situation alone. What really bothered me was that the management lacks integrity.
My waitress spilled my piping hot lobster bisque on me. My hand (owww) and my new white sweater. She was really apologetic and I didn't want her to feel bad about it. At the same time, I figured I wouldn't even have to ask for them to replace it. It was white and had a huge pink stain all over it.
When the check came, they had comped two drinks, one of which we never even asked for. When I asked to speak with a manager, a woman came over asking very dismissively, who got the drink spilled on them? She offered to pay my dry cleaning. I respectfully told her it wasn't likely the stain would come out. She rudely insisted it would.
On my way out, I asked to speak with the head manager. I was told that was John Arminio, who smiled and immediately told me to send him the receipt and he would pay for a replacement. Taking him at his word, I purchased a new sweater. (Just to be sure, I did try to take the sweater to the cleaners. They laughed me out the door.) I sent the receipt (about $100) along with a photo of myself at the restaurant in the stained sweater.
Several phone calls to them and promises the check would be in the mail later, I still have no nothing. I shouldn't have to keep calling them to beg them to reimburse me, so instead I will warn future potential customers:
If you can get over the disparity between the food quality and its price, then wear the free t-shirt you got from the gym. Because if they spill something on you, you will barely get an acknowledgment of that from the management, let alone a replacement.
Deeply disappointed.
