I went to this market on 08/06/16 because I got good fish there previously.
I selected a couple of porgies when I noticed the customer to my right jump back. A large rat was coming down the counter, almost jumping in the bowl with my fish. The rat looked diseased. I am surprised as it was the middle of the day and the establishment was full of people. I dropped everything and walked out, never to return.

Very fresh fish you pick your own, they will prep it to order (just gutted or fillet). They will also open clams and oysters for you. Some of the best fried clams in the city at their warm food counter. Friendly quick service
