This is a new education-related business in Oceanside, NY, that I came across totally randomly when I was at the Stop and Shop (Sand Plaza). I went to their first info session and was very impressed with what they have to offer in primarily sciences and maths. They have excellent educational programs for kids of middle school and high school. The founder and CEO is Dr. Paroly is a very nice and dynamic lady who got her PhD in Biology from Wesleyan University, and subsequently was a scientist at Columbia University.
She still works on breast cancer research.
One thing that is unique about them is that all their faculty have doctorate (PhD) in their field from reputed US institutions. I have kids in my family going to Oceanside high school, and I am certainly going to recommend them to join her center. In addition, Dr. Paroly also helps prepare custom college applications for kids applying for colleges. Overall I am very pleased with them being in town. Hope they keep nurturing our kids in Sciences and Mathematics.
