Best selection of whiskeys (scotch, japanese, bourbon, etc) and kosher wine around. amazing how Avi packs such a great variety into the store. Great prices also.

The best selection in all 5 boroughs, everything is visible and for sale. The owner might be the most knowledgeable and flat out cool owner/manager in New York. 5 Stars, a must see for anyone from here or from out of town!

Schnapps has without a doubt the best selection of wines and liquors that I have seen in New York. The prices also easily beat any other stores that I have been to in Brooklyn. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the owner helps customers find exactly what they're looking for with his outstanding knowledge of each wine and liquor he carries. Hands down this is the best liquor store in Brooklyn, and probably all of NYC.

The dude Avi is seriously one of the friendliest people I have ever met. Recommended a great Pinot Noir to me. This is the only place I'll go to based purely on the helpfulness and great attitude of the staff.
